Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton on the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to let her into the university for another entry since she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character on Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a TV star as a character in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. In season two, she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the most gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014.
